Jesus said to the thief on the cross, “today you will be with me in Paradise.” Luke 23:43
Because Matthew, Jacob, and Justin had each asked Jesus to forgive their sins and to accept His gift of eternal life, they are now with their Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. That alone gives us hope to live again knowing we will see them after our lives on this earth are done.
They were ready. Are you ready?
Jesus Christ offers this same gift of forgiveness and eternal life to all who will receive. Please consider the following.
People are sinful and separated from God because of sin.
For all have sinned; all fall short of God’s glorious standard.
Romans 3:23
God loves you. You are of great value to Him.
For God loved the world so much that He gave His one and only Son that whoever believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life. For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through Him.
John 3:16-17
Confession and Forgiveness
But if we confess our sins to Him, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all wickedness.
1 John 1:9
The Promise
But to all who believed Him and accepted Him, He gave the right to become children of God. They are reborn-not with a physical birth resulting from human passion or plan, but a birth that comes from God.
John 1:12-13
Will you by faith, personally trust Him to forgive your sins, reveal His plan and purpose for your life, and except the promise of eternal life?
Receive Him now with this simple prayer.
Lord Jesus, I need you. Thank you for dying on the cross in my place for my sins. I believe in You as my Savior and Lord. Thank you for forgiving me of my sins and giving me eternal life. Take control of the throne of my life and make me the kind of person You want me to be. Amen.
Turn from your old ways to new ways God has for you.
Get rid of all the filth and evil in your lives, and humbly accept the Word God has planted in your hearts, for it has the power to save your souls.
James 1:21
If you prayed this prayer, grow and be encouraged by God’s Word, the Bible.
When God touches your heart, you will never be the same.
